Libraries are great!
Wow! Not sure what I will write today but haven't posted for a few so here goes..... Well things are finally picking up in the blog world the past couple of days. New posts and shout outs to read. Also of note: Cousin Roo got a blog! So if you hadn't heard ya might stop by.... I also have linked some more blogs. I agree with Zippy- looks like we (Anna) started our own webring - LOL :) Well yesterday was my sister's birthday (boy is she getting old) J/K We also went to the library and got some books and LOTS of movies. with all the cards we have we can check out 30 movies at a time if we wanted to for free. I couldn't believe how fast the ones I reserved came in. It is so amazing (although I have been guilty of it myself) how people spend all this money for movie rentals at blockbuster and such when you can get them free for a week from the library. And now they even carry DVD's. And you can reserve practically any movie. They have definately improved their inventory too! You can get fairly new movies. And they have lots of good music CD's too! Anyway enough about the library! If you haven't been to one in a while then go check it out! LOL (pun intended) anywho... the whole reason I brought up the library was that today I got a few CD's that brought back some old memories. I got this Led Zepplin one that my brother used to play before school everyday when I was a kid. And I got a Van Halen and a Beatles one that reminded me of times during my youth spent with my best friend! Boy do I miss her! She passed away a few years ago to cancer. Friends like her are hard to come by. I love putting in old music that we used to listen to growing up. The Beatles, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Supertramp, Van Halen, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd and more remind me of fun times we used to have. (for you youngens- these are old Rock and Roll groups- LOL) If I can give you all one piece of advice it would be to never leave things unsaid. You never know when the person you want to say these things to will be taken away. Don't take things for granted. And most importantly, don't put off keeping in touch with someone who lives far away. Don't put off things you could do today for tommorrow, cause for some tommorrow may never come. Anyways, not trying to depress anyone, just giving a bit of advice I learned the hard way. On a lighter note... my dad won this big award in real estate the other night so me and one of my sisters, her hubby, and my brother all went to this really fancy, (yet dull and boring) banquet. He had no idea we were coming so he was surprised to say the least. It was hard being around him Thanksgiving not to slip and tell him the big surprise! we know about his award for 3 weeks and he had no clue he was getting it. He won broker of the year! Also, small world thing: My twins went out that night too to babysit for some people and it turned out that the guy whose kids they watched sang the National Anthem there. He and his wife were there. (small world) Well, this post has gone on way longer than I thought. you all can wake up now (LOL) Take care blogger peoples! This is Larlie signin' out***********poof*******

Finally home from grandma's
Well I am finally back! I have been at my grandma's taking care of her. She has Alzheimer's so someone has to stay with her all the time. We have a lady that takes care of her all the time and then I fill in on her days off. Anyways, I am finally back home! I have been there since Thanksgiving! I have lots of catching up to do so I will post more later. ttfn~~~~~~
