Megan's slumber partay!
Well it's Monday and we survived the weekend! Megan's slumber party turned out fine. Although they probably shouldn't have stayed up all night! They weren't exactly thrilled when I made them go to bed at 7:00 AM but they sure fell asleep right away! Mom's DO know best! (LOL)
Well it is exciting to see everyone's blogs becoming so colorful and original! I guess they are taking on personalities of their own. I am trying to find the code for this really cool clock one of my friends emailed me a long time ago. It would be so cool to have on my blog. It was just different and way cool! Slumber parties are so much fun! I remember all the ones I went to when I was a kid and they really weren't much different. The only exception I guess was that we didn't have readily available VHS or DVD movies to just pop in what ever we wanted on the tube and watch whatever we wanted. Although I guess we either watched whatever was already on the tele or we were just more creative and played more silly games and pranks. My daughter really wanted to TP someone's house but the neighbor that they wanted to do was the same one we did before and I didn't want them to have to clean it up again. Oh well, they had a fun time without doing it anyways!
Boy do I feel old! I just got an email the other day reminding me that next summer will be my 20th high school reunion! It seems like only just yesterday that I graduated! But actually 2 of my kids graduated this year! I guess it's true what they say -"You are as old as you feel" Because I don't' feel much older then when I was in high school! That is one good thing about having kids - they keep you young! I disagree with the popular opinion that kids turn your hair gray! I thank YAHWEH everyday for blessing me with such wonderful children! Maybe he will bless me with some more! Well I will end this post with a praise to Yahweh for all the blessings he has bestowed upon me! And may he bless each of you!
